“Healing is embracing what is most feared; healing is opening what has been closed, softening what has hardened into obstruction, healing is learning to trust life.”
– Jeanne Achterberg

Specialties and Issues

I support adults navigating a wide range of challenges, and I especially focus on helping survivors of narcissistic abuse. Whether you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, adjusting to a major life transition, or healing from a harmful relationship, my goal is to create a safe, non‑judgmental space where you can make sense of your experience and move toward choices that feel more grounded, aligned, and empowering.

Narcissistic Abuse

Narcissistic abuse often shows up as subtle manipulation, emotional control, or one‑sided relationships that leave you feeling confused, “too sensitive,” or constantly on edge. You may find yourself apologizing often, questioning your own memory, or feeling like you’re walking on eggshells to keep the peace. Over time, this can erode your self‑trust and make it hard to know what’s real.In our work together, we’ll gently unpack what happened in your relationship, normalize your reactions, and help you reconnect with your own truth. You’ll have space to explore confusion, shame, and self‑doubt without judgment, and to rebuild a sense of safety within yourself. My goal is to support you in setting stronger boundaries, recognizing patterns, and moving toward relationships and choices that honour your needs and values.

Emotional Overwhelm

Emotional overwhelm can feel like being flooded by anxiety, stress, or intense feelings with no clear way to slow down. You might notice racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, irritability, or a constant sense of “too much” with not enough time, energy, or support. This can show up at work, in relationships, or in your own mind, leaving you feeling exhausted and disconnected from yourself.
In therapy, we’ll explore what’s contributing to the overwhelm. Whether it’s anxiety, perfectionism, people‑pleasing, or unmet needs, together we will build practical, compassionate strategies to help you feel more grounded. This may include tools for managing anxiety, creating healthier boundaries, and learning to pause and care for yourself before you reach your breaking point. Over time, the goal is to help you move from constant reactivity to a calmer, more intentional way of living

Life Transitions

Life transitions, such as moving, changing careers, ending or beginning relationships, or shifts in identity, can bring both hope and deep uncertainty. Even “good” changes can feel destabilizing, especially if they involve loss, new responsibilities, or a sense of “Who am I now?” You might feel caught between excitement and fear, or between what you should feel and what you actually feel.
In our sessions, we’ll make space for all of those mixed emotions. You’ll be able to grieve what’s ending, clarify what you truly want, and step into what’s next with more self‑compassion and direction. Whether you’re navigating a breakup, a career change, a move, or a shift in how you see yourself, my focus is on helping you feel less lost and more aligned with your values and inner wisdom.
